Bonners Ferry 6-foot-1 senior Aaron Hoisington scored a game-high 16 points for the Badgers’ 52-39 victory over Orofino and a game-high 17 points in the 64-38 loss to Lakeland.

Also against Orofino, 5-foot-9 senior Jacob Parker scored 10 points and 5-foot-9 senior Miguel Mendez added 8. Five-foot-11 senior Dillon Deitz and Parker scored two 3-pointers. Hoisington went 7-for-12 from the foul line.

“The kids deserved this win,” said coach Gordon Allured. “They all have been playing hard in practice and games, but just haven’t been able to get the ball in the basket. We finally made some shots and played really well on the defensive side. Hopefully we can keep it going.”

Against Lakeland on Monday, Deitz scored 9 points and Mendez added 6. Hoisington went 7-for-11 from the foul line.
