No. 1 goal is education

Each week an administrator from Boundary County School District 101 has the opportunity to write a letter to the newspapers in Boundary County.

We appreciate this opportunity. Most importantly, we appreciate the opportunity to educate the students in BCSD No. 101. 

The number one goal in our district is to educate children. The opportunity to educate our students comes with responsibility.

The responsibility to use research-based materials, effective instructional materials and strategies and up-to-date technology. The responsibility to educate students is enormous, but the educators in our community rise to this responsibility daily. 

Even today, as our economy weakens, the educators in Boundary County continue to have the opportunity and responsibility to educate our students.  It is through education that our students will have the skills, knowledge and work ethic to stand on their own feet economically in the future.
