Blue Lake RV Resort sold

Blue Lake RV Resort on Highway 95 outside Naples  has been sold and is undergoing renovations.

The resort was purchased by Pat and Xyla Carson, their son Matt Carson, and daughter Heidi Carson and her fiancé, James Boraski. The resort 6 miles south of Bonners Ferry will reopen May 1.

Boraski and Heidi Carson managed a 5-star RV Resort north of Seattle for two years when Pat and Xyla Carson learned Blue Lake RV Resort was for sale by former owner  Valencia Voth.

“We decided to renovate the old lakeside building into a rustic clubhouse with a full kitchen,” said longtime resident and business developer Pat Carson.

The clubhouse will provide seating for 50, and 100-plus outside for weddings, reunions and retreats. The new owners also plan to build cabins and boutique pole tents along the lake.

RV sites will be upgraded and widened. Also in the works are a new bathhouse, Wi-Fi, a new dock, a workout room and propane service. 

 Blue Lake will offer a day-use fee for residents who want to use the lake. Non-motorized boats are welcome and rental canoe/kayaks will also be available.
