Thomas Albert Kirchner, 69

Thomas Albert Kirchner, 69, passed away peacefully Saturday, Jan. 17, 2009, at his home in Bonners Ferry under the care of his wife, Trudy.

A private memorial will be held May 10, 2009, in Bonners Ferry.

Thomas was born Aug. 18, 1939, in Elmhurst, Ill. 

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. 

Thomas lived in Bonners Ferry for the last 18 years.

He is survived by his wife in Bonners Ferry; his son, Conrad of Willow Springs, Mo.; daughters Renae Kraetsch and her husband, Mark, of Illinois,  Constance Persike and her husband, Chris, and Cynthia Kirchner all of Wisconsin; stepdaughters Debbie of Wisconsin and Cheryl Council and her husband, Dale, of San Diego; granddaughter Haevyn Council of San Diego;  brothers  Robert Burke and his wife, Viola, of California, Richard Kirchner and his wife, Diane, and Earl Kirchner and his wife, Pat, all of Illinois; and Kenneth Kirchner and his wife, Lorraine, of Florida; sisters Donna  Becker and her husband, Robert, of Arizona, Patricia Kubera and her husband, Al, of California, and Barbara Shaw  and her husband, Robert, of Florida; and many nieces and nephews.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents Oscar and Edna Kirchner;  son Oscar ; brothers Maxwell and William; and sisters Isabella Peltier, Sally Kirchner and Virginia Oetjens.
