Border Patrol donates 21 computers to Boundary County School District

The U.S. Border Patrol Spokane Sector/Bonners Ferry Station donated 21 Dell computers to Boundary County School District.
Rob Kent, technology coordinator for the school district, was contacted by the Spokane Border Patrol, which had computers it wanted to donate.
“They just called out of the blue,” said Kent “I do think that someone must have clued them in on the need in our district for new computers.”
According to Kent, the school district has been using computers that are 10-plus years old. The donated computers will help replace some of the 150 computers used in the district.
“The computers will be distributed throughout the schools, and there is still a need for more computers,” Kent said.
