Where are rights of those torn from woman's womb?

| January 29, 2009 8:00 PM

Last week in January marked 35 years of legalized abortion death in our land.

The cry of supposed human rights liberals is empty and hollow when we consider the 35 million abortion deaths that have been executed within the last 35 years.  Where are the rights of those who are torn and ripped apart in the womb?

The last proclamation of the outgoing president was to declare Sunday, Jan. 18, Sanctity of Human Life Day.  Part of which is stated all human life is a gift from our Creator that is sacred, unique and worthy of protection.  The most basic of government is to protect the life of the innocent.

The incoming president has said he wants to usher in a new declaration of independence and that will include promoting abortion death along with the sodomite agenda.

Death and abominations do not lead to independence, but to more of what they are.  It is my hope that we could not only have a Sanctity of Life Day, but it would be the way of life for every day in our land.  It would be good to heed the words of our third president, Thomas Jefferson, “Indeed, I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is  just; and that His justice cannot sleep forever.”
