Burglaries reported in city

There have been multiple burglaries within the city limits during the past week, according to Bonners Ferry Police Chief Rick Alonzo.

The burglaries  reported on Thursday, June 25, were at  Mane Street Hair on McCall Street and Chic ‘N Chop on South Main and one on LaBrosse Hill.  The burglaries all occurred within a few hours of each other. 

According to police the burglars made off with approximately $13 in change from the Chic n’ Chop

There also was an attempted break in at the Bonners Ferry Herald office which was discovered on Monday when employees arrived and noticed the damaged door. 

Bonners Ferry police said there are several suspects and an investigation in under way.
