Something Sweet is giving downtown Bonners Ferry “some sugar.”

Located at 6424 Kootenai St. the gourmet gift shop opened on Tuesday.

Owner Donna McWilliams of Bonners Ferry carries a variety of quality candy, food items and unique gifts not typically found in Bonners Ferry.

Items include gourmet coffee beans, crackers, butters, spreads, salsa, toffee, peanut brittle, handmade caramels, barber polls, lolipops, licorice, saltwater taffy, fudge, grassland mixes, cheeses and sausages.

“I offer gift baskets, too,” said McWilliams.  “Customers can pick items off the shelf for their baskets including the basket, and I will put the gifts together in the basket for them.”

Sweet paintings by local artist Carolyn Testa are featured in the store, and McWilliams is looking for  local hand crafted gift items and gourmet items to add to her list of goodies.

Something Sweet is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.  For information, call McWilliams at 304-4372.
