Forest Braden placed 10th in the men’s 10,000-meter run at the U.S. Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Eugene,Ore.
A Bonners Ferry High School graduate and running coach at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Wash., Braden finished in 28 minutes, 43.98 seconds.
Galen Rupp of Oregon won in 27:52.53.
