Christina Maria Jacob Alan Stonehocker

Robert and Janosch of Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Christina Maria, to Jacob Alan Stonehocker.

He is the son of Sydney and Kathy Stonehocker of Shelley and formerly of Bonners Ferry.

Jacob graduated from Bonners Ferry High School and attends Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.

His future wife attended Brigham Young University-Idaho, and will transfer to Provo. She is studying elementary education.

The couple will marry Aug. 29, 2009, at the Idaho Temple for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Rexburg.

An open house will be held for the couple from 7 to 9 p.m. Aug. 15 at LDS Stake Center in Medicine Hat. A reception will be held 7 to 9 p.m. Aug. 28 at Historic Shelton Church in Idaho Falls.
