Tip A Cop

Local police will raise money for Idaho Special Olympics Athletes during Tip-A-Cop from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 15, at Kootenai River Inn.

Police will be waiting tables and donating tips to Idaho Special Olympics. Law enforcement officers have been considered the guardians of the Flame for the Special Olympics Torch, and work around the world at raising funds and awareness for the program.

Bonners Ferry has an active local Special Olympics team that competes in snowshoe and other events. Gary and Barb Moehler coach local athletes, and Bonners Ferry Rotary purchased new team jackets for athletes last winter.
