• A daughter was born on Jan. 27, 2009, at Bonner General Hospital in Sandpoint to Saman-tha Barton and David West of Bonners Ferry.

Caren Carerra West weighed 6 pounds, 14 ounces and measured 18 inches.

Grandparents are Pam and Jamie Barton and Tim and Lisa West, all of Bonners Ferry.

Great-grandparents are Doug and Ivey Jenson and Rick and Delores Riekena, all of Bonners Ferry, and Bill and Rachel West of Libby, Mont.

Great-great-grandmother is Laveeda Linnemeyer of Bonners Ferry.
