Mila “Sue” Lee, 57

Former Boundary County resident Mila “Sue” Lee, 57, beloved wife and mother, passed away Monday, March 2, 2009, in Bellingham, Wash., after a brief, courageous battle with cancer.

Funeral services were held March 6 at Bonners Ferry Funeral Home with interment at Grandview Cemetery.

Sue was a loving wife and mother, who dedicated her life to the care of her family and those around her.

She was born on Aug. 19, 1951, in Whitefish, Mont., to Thelma and Milus Oxford.

Sue attended Boundary County Schools before marrying Terry K. Lee on Aug. 10, 1970.

She loved to garden, was an excellent bowler and knitted during the winter months.

Sue had a passion for family life, and was an incredibly strong presence among her loved ones. She loved making people laugh and will be dearly missed by friends and family.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents.

Sue is survived by husband; children Brandee Leemon, Mike Lee and his wife, Carrie, and Becky Lee and her husband, Chris, all of Whatcom County, Wash.; siblings Paula Polumsky, and Mike, Steve and Tom Oxford; grandchildren Matthew and Shawn Leemon, and Miranda, Crystal and Tiffany Lee.
