Julian named bank manager

Carol Julian has been promoted to branch manager at Panhandle State Bank in Bonners Ferry.

Former branch manager Dave Walter will remain on with PSB’s Business Banking Center as a commercial lender and business banking manager in the Bonners Ferry office.

“Carol’s prior experience and strengths have created an easy transition for her to branch manager where she will be able to focus more on our staff, customer experience and community involvement,”  Walter said.

Julian was hired  in 2006 as the branch operations supervisor and loan officer. She has 25 years of banking experience.

“It is exciting to have more time to focus on the operational duties of my job,” Julian said. “There is a lot we can work on in the day to day operations, and I also plan to increase our community activities within the branch as part of the bank’s new Powered by Community Program, which will involve a lot of our time and resources.”

Walter will work on financing needs of customers with more complicated commercial relationships and continue helping customer’s secure residential construction and other personal loans.
