Marjorie Elizabeth Peterek, 90

Marjorie Elizabeth Peterek, 90, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, March 14, 2009, at her home in Bonners Ferry.

Private inurnment will be held at St. Thomas Cemetery in Couer d’Alene.

Marjorie is survived by daughters Theresa Peterek and Juli Moyer, and husband Steve, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Many people’s lives were touched by her love and caring.

Kootenai County officials several years ago named Peterek as its Volunteer of the Year Award for her love and many, many hours of dedication helping children learn to read and maintaining the school library; her efforts were tireless. We will all miss her dearly.
