Kenneth E. Thompson, 73

Former Bonners Ferry resident Kenneth E. Thompson, 73, passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 5, 2009, at his home in Rathdrum.

Ken was born Jan. 10, 1936.

He worked in the logging industry for most of his life.

Ken enjoyed camping, hunting, mining and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by five children from a previous marriage, Kristine, Jeff and Marty Thompson, Cindy Agueros and Gina Branscome; his wife Kristi and their son Tyler; his mother Gladys, sisters Cleo Wickersham, Paulie Jones and Roxanne Johnson; a brother, Kurt; grandchildren Erick and Brandon Agueros, Ryan and Leah Branscome, and Mitch and Miranda Thompson; and numerous nieces and nephews; and his in-laws.

Private services were held Monday at Grandview Cemetery in Bonners Ferry.
