David Daryl Dinning, 52

David Daryl Dinning, 52, passed suddenly on Friday, May 15, 2009, in Chehalis, Wash., while working at Draper Valley Feed Mill, where he had been employed for 28 years.

Dave was born Feb. 7, 1957, in Bonners Ferry, where he lived until 1979. David then moved to Sedro Woolley, Wash.

He was an avid gardener, outdoorsman and mechanic hobbyist. Dave’s love for hunting, fishing and muzzleloaders was second only to his love for his family.

He was much loved by his large family and his kind nature and soft spoken way will be missed by all. Dave was a people person, who would do what he could to help anyone in need.

Dave is survived by his wife, Lore, and his mother, Betty Dinning, both of Day Creek, Wash.; sister, Jennifer Dinning and her life partner, William McFadden, of Dillon, Mont.; daughters Holli Martin and her husband, Jacob, of Lyman, Wash., Unity Surver and Desseret Doane and her husband, Patrick, all of Linden, Ind., and Hope Sather of Day Creek; sons Jeremy Dinning of Smokey Point, Wash.; and Samuel Sather and his wife, Trisha, of Sedro Woolley; nephews Christopher Crandall and his wife, Nicki, of Smokey Point, Adrian Smith and his wife, Kimmiejoe, of Granite Falls, Wash., Todd Smith and his wife, Angela, of Sedro Woolley, Matthew Smith of Mount Vernon, Wash.; and grandchildren Austin, Searrah, Justin, Jared, Darian, Eli, Samuel, Kimberly, Christina, Taylor, Brooke, Shelby, Tamara, Killian, Trenton, Kaytlynn and Jade; and many extended family and friends.

Dave was preceded in death by his father, Daryl Dinning.

A memorial service will be held at the Burlington Community Center in Washington at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 24, 2009.
