Spacenet lands at Mt. Hall

The Spacenet landed at Mt. Hall Elementary School, and volunteers and parents helped install the new playground structure after two years of fundraising.

The 17-foot tall Spacenet replaces the old equipment recently sold at a silent auction. Funds raised during this auction went toward new playground equipment.

The Mt. Hall School Parent Teachers Organization purchased the Spacenet 50 percent off and had funds left to purchase a mulit-functional playground set, which has built with monkey bars and a plastic slide.  This structure will have to be stored through the winter so the PTO can raise more funds to install it this spring.

“Again, without our great support system of volunteers, staff and community, we could not have done it,” said Mt. Hall secretary Amanda Lammers . “Mt. Hall is very blessed to have such a great support system from our parents, staff and community.”

 Making donations were Hill Excavation, Fodge Pulp, Redi-Mix, Apex Construction, Kootenai Tribe, Northern Lights, Matt and Lisa Noble, Jim Bace, Wade Daniel, Ben Reinhardt, Josh and Mandy Young, Jeremy and Rachel Hill, Travis and Kelly Hinthorn, Anne and Steve Donn, and U.S. Border Patrol. 

“Our first of many structures was a success and everything went very well,” said Lammers.
