The Kootenai Valley Mennonite Church Craft and Bake sale

The Kootenai Valley Mennonite Church Craft and Bake sale will be held 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, at the church on Moon Shadow Road.

Committee member Emma Schlabach said last year’s turnout was great and is looking forward to another successful year.

Lunch will be provided at $5 per person. There will be a choice of chili or potato soup, corn bread or roll and pie or cheesecake for dessert.

Some handmade items for sale will be quilts, pillows, wall hangings and wood crafts.  The baked goods will include pies, cookies, breads, fresh doughnuts and cinnamon rolls.  They will also have Wisconsin cheeses available.

“It is pretty much the ladies of the church who bake and quilt and the guys do woodcrafts,” said Schlabach.  “The whole church enjoys working together to put on the event.”
