Our loving mother, wife, grandma, great-grandma and friend Frances Mae Hilton, 79, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009, at Kootenai Medical Center in Coeur d’Alene after a sudden stroke.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday Nov. 28 with interment following at Grandview Cemetery.

Frances enjoyed a very fulfilled and healthy life.

Frances was born March 19, 1930, in Colfax, Wash., to Alan and Willa Finch. She had one brother, Buddy.

Frances went to school in Cusick, Wash., where her family resided and that is where she met and married the love of her life, Mark Hilton.

After they married, they moved to Moyie Springs, where Mark worked at the mill after his service in the military.

The couple had daughters Toni (Lee Taylor) and Sheri (Phil) Schnuerle.

Mark and Frances enjoyed their family and were blessed to have five grandchildren and their families Todd and (Pamela) Hittle and great-grandsons and Lane and Ryker; Spencer and (Barbara) Hittle and great-granddaughters Amy, Alanna, Ashlyn and Amanda and (Mark) Young and great-great granddaughter, K’Lynn; Tifani Hittle and (Darren Osborn), great-grandaughters Allysa, Kendal and Haley; Toby and (Jamie) Schnuerle and great-grandchildren Jaeger and Jaeda; Libbi and (Matt)  Maggi and great grandchildren Grace, Amanda and Dalton.

Mark and Frances enjoyed snowmobile riding, bowling, shopping together and their family gatherings in their wonderful 63 years together.

Taking care of Dad, her home and puppies along with baby-sitting her great-grandchildren were the greatest joys in Francis’ life. Training and grooming her puppies was her favorite hobby.

Frances is survived by her husband, daughter Toni, and all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, brother Buddy and daughter Sheri Schnuerle.
