Home for the holidays 2009

Home for the Holidays 2009 Christmas celebration sponsored by The Friends of Downtown will begin at  6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 27.  Santa Claus will be present for the lighting of the downtown Christmas tree.

On Friday, Dec. 4, and Saturday, Dec. 5, downtown merchants will hold special events.  At  9:30 a.m and 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, free showings of the Walt Disney Film “Up” will be held and free stockings will be given to children.

Enter to win “Holiday Bucks” at participating merchants to win some of the $600 in holiday bucks; there will be four weeks of winners.
