Marsha “Maggie” Emacio, 70

Former Porthill resident Marsha “Maggie” Emacio, 70, passed away Sept. 20, 2009, in Lewiston.

Maggie was born Aug. 2, 1939, in Lincoln City, Ore.

She was employed as a bookkeeper, certified nurse aide and medical transcriptionist.

Maggie had many self-taught talents, including knitting, crocheting, embroidery, gardening, baking and cooking.

She loved music of all kinds, taking pictures, Burger King fries, Subway sandwiches and ice cream. Maggie also loved a picnic, a party and a quite night a home with the Three Stooges and long naps.

Most of all, Maggie loved her grandchildren. They were her joy. She knew she’d been blessed.

Maggie is survived by children Kelly Sterner of Spokane, Wash., Loni Paulsen of Post Falls and Kim Edgeman of Watford City, N.D.; four sisters; nine grandchildren and two great-grandsons.

There will be a memorial service at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, at Northwoods Tavern in Naples. Friends and family are invited to celebrate her life followed by a potluck. She never said good-bye; always see ya later.
