The annual Fall Fashion Show to raise money for promoting domestic violence awareness will be held 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, in Memorial Hall at the Boundary County Fairgrounds.

Clothing from Boardwalk Boutique and Under the Sun will be modeled.

“It’s a great night and it’s a lot of fun,” said Margaret Huggins, program coordinator for Boundary County Youth Crisis and Domestic Violence Hotline. “This is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and  this is our main fundraiser. We use the money to promote awareness and provide help for victims of domestic violence.”

Huggins noted that one out of four women is abused sometime in her life, while one out of three knows a victim of abuse.

The evening will include a musical performance by the trio Bright Moments.

“The live music will be a nice addition,” Huggins said.

The $15 ticket includes hors d’oeuvres and wine and beer tasting provided by Under the Sun.

Instead of one ticket for the beer and wine tasting and a separate ticket to get in, they were combined, Huggins said.

“You can have a glass of wine or beer and it’s a little less complicated this way,” she said.
