Children's choir auditions

The award-winning Bonners Ferry Children's Choir "Swingin' on a Star" will hold auditions for new members 3:30 to 4:30 and 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 14, at Trinity Lutheran Church. "Swingin' on a Star" is a community choir open to children ages 8 to 18. The choir  

performs in four to eight local concerts each year and somewhere in the Northwest

about every other year.

Last year the singers were involved in the musical "Honk!”

There is no fee to join the choir, but only singers who are chosen from the auditions may participate.

The choir will begin rehearsals the same day as auditions. Practice will be held from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. for those age 8 through middle school and from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. for  

high school students.

Children who have been members of "Swingin' on a Star" in previous years do not have to audition again. The choir rehearses each Monday evening throughout the school year.
