| September 10, 2009 9:00 PM

Vaccines for the common seasonal flu will be given 8 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, at the Panhandle Health District office at 7402 Caribou St. in Bonners Ferry.

A second clinic will be held 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, at the Senior Hospitality Center in Bonners Ferry.

No appointments are needed. Vaccines are $25. The health district will bill Medicaid and Medicare Part B and accept payment by cash, check, Visa and Mastercard.

A limited number of free vaccinations will be available to people 60 to 64 who don’t qualify for Medicaid or Medicare thanks to funding from the Area Agency on Aging.

Children’s flu vaccines are scheduled to arrive later in the month. To schedule flu vaccinations, call 267-5558.
