Bonners Ferry lost to Newport on Tuesday 25-27, 16-25, 20-25.

For the Badgers  Tana Schneider had 17 assists and two ace serves; Casey Watt has seven kills; Mikki Erickson and Hallie Payne each had four kills; Hallie Payne has three blocks; and Olivia Langs had 12 digs.

Coach Janis Tucker said the Lady Badgers improved every aspect  of play with the exception of serving.  She said they were plagued with serving errors throughout the match.

The Lady Badgers play at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10 at St. Maries.
