A daughter was born on Aug. 4, 2009, at Bonner General Hospital in Sandpoint to Alyssa and Adam Portrey of Sandpoint.
Kiara Rayne Portrey weighed 7 pounds, 11.5 ounces and measured 20 inches.
Grandparents are Deborah Ford of Sedona Ariz.; Lanny Nielson of Sandpoint, and Randa and Wesley Portrey, both of Bonners Ferry.
