Volleyball
Tana Schneider had 42 assists during the Bonners Ferry Tournament, helping the Lady Badgers toward their fourth-place finish Saturday.
Other tournament leaders were Lady Badgers Casey Watt with 12 kills and Markayle Acord 11, Schneider with 17 aces and Hallie Payne with 8 Casey Watt with 5 blocks and Acord with 6, and Olivia Langs with 19 digs and Watt with 12.
The Lady Badgers lost to Whitefish and defeated Selkirk and Coeur d’Alene to earn a spot in the consolation game against Whitefish.
The Bulldogs beat Bonners Ferry 25-17, 23-25, 15-8 for third place.
Libby won the championship, defeating Clark Fork, Timberlake and Lake City before winning 25-12, 17-25, and 25-10 over Timberlake in the finals.
