Political correctness is ruining athletic programs

Political correctness is ruining athletics in Boundary County. If the community wants equal opportunities for all students in extracurricular activities then build more facilities.

It is a complete nightmare for Mr. Reynolds to have to schedule the 2 1/2 gyms for six high school teams, eight junior high teams (not including intra murals and PTO teams) adult volleyball and adult pickle ball, cheer leading and dance teams for both high school and junior high.

This year the boys varsity basketball team was bumped twice from gym usage at critical time of the season by the eighth grade girls. And, last year because the boys basketball was not on the secretary's schedule at the junior high we were banned from using the gym … in the summer.
