Student of the Month
BONNERS FERRY — Taylor Tompke, son of Monica and Dwayne Tompke, has been selected by the Bonners Ferry High School staff as March Student of the Month for Delta Kappa Gamma.
Taylor, a Junior, is an active member of the football and track team and is a member of the National Honor Society. During his free time Taylor enjoys archery, hunting and fishing and going to the lake.
After high school Taylor plans on studying architecture or engineering while in college.
Mr. DePriest and Mr. Patzer, teachers at BFHS, both commend Taylor for being respectful, positive and a hard working student.
“He does more than is required of him in every class,” comments Mr. Patzer. Taylor describes himself as busy, goal-oriented and fun to be around.
Taylor appreciates teachers George and Lisa Hayes from Mount Hall School. He is grateful for the relationships they build with kids and thinks the smaller school atmosphere creates those bonds.
