Rotary Scholarship deadline April 15

BONNERS FERRY — Secretary of the Bonners Ferry Rotary Club, Greg Johnson, said time is running out to apply for scholarships. Applications must be postmarked by Thursday, April 15.

The Amy Farrell Scholarship is worth $1,000 to applicant who is interested in attending higher education in performing arts.

There are 13, $500 scholarships available to high school students, students already in college and to adults who want to go back school for a higher education.

Finally 10 $100 dual scholarships are available for students in high school who want to take North Idaho College credits while in high school.

These scholarships are available to Boundary County residents who want to pursue higher education at a university or vocational technical school.

Applications can be picked up at Bonners Ferry High School in the counselor’s office, or can be downloaded at the Bonners Ferry Rotary Club Web site at www.bonnersferryrotary.com.

Scholarships are funded by Rotary Club fund raisers and community donations.
