Being Better Role Models
April is Child Abuse Awareness Month. Early prevention can make a lot of difference.
People can make a difference by being better role models. It can be hard for parents to see themselves as the problem. The first step is always the hardest, admitting there is a problem, and then doing something about it.
Victim’s Services and the Eagles are promoting the Blue Ribbon campaign.
The Eagles will hold a fundraiser breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m. on Sunday, April 18, at fellowship hall.
They will be serving Eggs Benedict, hash browns, juice and coffee for $6.
Proceeds will go to the Boundary County Crisis Line.
The Hospital Health Fair will be on Saturday, On May 15. Raffle tickets will be sold for a big stuffed bear and a pass for two to Silverwood.
