| April 29, 2010 9:00 PM

PRIEST RIVER — The Lady Spartan Softball Team picked-up three much needed victories over the weekend and on Monday, defeating Bonners Ferry handily in all three to improve to 5-12, 4-6 on the season.

Five Lady Spartans tripled in the 10-0 lopsided win, including Kelsie Fink, who picked-up the win from the mound after a complete game two-hit performance.

“This game was a good confidence builder for Kelsie,” Spartan coach John Mullaley said.  “She had moments where she struggled, but didn’t get down on herself.”

Chelsea Linton and Holly Hirst both had three-hit games for the Spartans, which had 12 total hits and no errors recorded in the field.

Priest River plays again on Saturday, hosting St. Maries for a doubleheader starting at 11 a.m.
