| August 26, 2010 9:00 PM

Ten teams of two and three nine-hole rounds in three different formats was the game of the day at Mirror Lake Golf Course Saturday, and the team of Steve Nelson and Gordy Allured came out on top after a fun day of play.

Finishing second overall, where scores from all three rounds were combined, was Cyle Young and Brion Poston, and Janie Porter and Joe Wilkerson finished the day in third.

The first nine holes played were best ball, with two teams tying. Al Smith and Frank Plantz took first in a chip off, Janie Porter and Joe Wilkerson took second. Scotch ball was the name of the game in the second round, where Cyle Young and Brion Poston took first and Dave Anderson and Dick Staples second. Round three was a scramble, with Kevin Larson and Chad Deitz coming in first and Michael Stevens and Ted Reynolds coming in second.
