Bonners Ferry High Schoolgirls basketball

Bonners Ferry High School Varsity Girls’ basketball team came to an end last week after losing to Kellogg 55-35 on Friday in the District 1 playoffs.

The Lady Badgers were down 2 at the half and were outscored by Kellogg in the third quarter 15-3.

Jodan Porter led Bonners Ferry with 10 points and eight rebounds.

At Timberlake on Wednesday, the Lady Badgers lost 53-36.

Bonners Ferry played well in the first half, but cold shooting and lack of scoring in the second half, said coach Travis Hinthorn.

Timberlake outscored Bonners 27-14 in the second half.

The Lady Badgers ended the season 9-14. Senior Erin Hiatt made All League for a second year in a row.
