Shelton Chiropractic opens two offices

| February 18, 2010 8:00 PM

Dr. Joshua Shelton has opened Shelton Chiropractic in Bonners Ferry and Troy, Mont.

Shelton set up his practice in the area because his parents, Pam and Dennis Shelton, live here. The Sheltons in 1999 moved their horse ranch to Boundary County. They teach at Cornerstone Christian School north of Bonners Ferry.

“My wife and I love this area,” Joshua Shelton said. “We would come visit and it feels more like home. We’re small town people.”

He has a bachelor’s in business from Walla Walla University in Washington. Shelton also has a bachelor’s in human biology and doctorate from Western States Chiropractic College in Portland. He received his doctorate in December.

Shelton Chiropractic’s office at 6389 Bonner St. in Bonners Ferry will be open 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays and can be reached at 267-7246.

The office in Troy at 206 S. Seventh St. is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday and can be reached at 406-291-9444.

Shelton’s wife, Amy, is a registered nurse. She is working with him at the practice.
