Six-foot junior Badger Alec Lopez scored 7 points during Bonners Ferry varsity basketball team’s 69-26 loss to Priest River on Saturday.

Six-foot-2 junior Badger Justin Everhardt added 6 points.

Priest River’s Eric Holbrook and Max Salesky each tallied 16 points and Jake Weimer added a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

The Spartans outscored the Badgers 27-4 in the first quarter and held a 32-point lead by halftime in Priest River.

In addition to his 16 points, Holbrook also added nine assists and four steals.

In other action, six-foot junior Aaron Moe score 14 points during the varsity squad‘s 56-47 loss to Lake City on Monday.

Six-foot-one senior Alex Kellogg added 13 points and 5-foot-11 junior Matt Evans scored 10.

M. Bevaqua led Lake City with 18 points and teammate J. Potts added 14.

The Badgers are 3-6 overall and 0-1 in the Intermountain League.
