Marjorie Mae Turner, 83

Marjorie Mae Turner, 83, passed away on June 11, 2010, at the Boundary County Nursing home in Bonners Ferry, Idaho.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, July 3, 2010 at 2 p.m. in the Grandview Cemetery, Bonners Ferry, Idaho.

Marjorie Mae Turner was born to Lota and John Hamilton in Oklahoma City, Okla., on July 25, 1926.

In 1945, Margie met and married George Turner, with whom she had two beautiful daughters.

George and Margie spent most of their lives together in California, but the last 10 years were happily lived out in Bonners Ferry. The final year and a half of Margie's life, until she passed away on June 11, 2010, was spent in the Extended Care Wing of the Boundary Community General Hospital. The wonderful, loving care of the ECF staff helped to make Margie's final days happy ones.

Her mother, Lota McKenzie, and her beloved husband, George, precede Margie in death.

Margie is survived by her loving family including her sister-in-law Marie Peck and Marie's sister Roselie, daughter Judy, sons Mike and David.

Margie is also survived by her daughter Joni and her husband Mike Joseph, their son Mike and his wife Sunshine, as well as Joni and Mike's younger son Joshua and his two daughters, Matelyn and Mariah. Her youngest daughter, Linda Sawyer, Linda's daughter Heather and son Eric; as well as Erik's wife Cyndi and her daughter Samarra Cross, her husband Chuck, and their daughter Bailey also survive Margie.

Margie Mae was a sweet woman whose life spread joy to others. Margie leaves behind many people who love her and will remember her dearly.
