Human Rights Task Force Missed the Mark

| July 9, 2010 9:00 PM

I was watching a documentary a couple of weeks ago on Vanguard or Currrent T.V.

The documentary was about a group from Ecuador trying to make its way north and to illegally cross into the U.S.

Their journey took them through Mexico. Their biggest fear was not trying to cross the U.S. border but by being caught by coyotes (smugglers and traffickers) and Mexican police. It seems, they said, that if you are caught assisting illegal aliens in Mexico you can get six years in prison and things could be a whole lot worse for those illegal aliens who get caught.

The Boundary County Human Rights Task Force failed to mention in their article that the illegal aliens before they even get to the U.S. border and while still in Mexico, many times are coerced to act as mules to transport drugs and are subject to robbery, extortion, rape, forced prostitution, and even murder.

It seems like this would be a focus of the task force, but not this time.  The task force is more concerned with the rights of criminals and as far as I know it is a criminal act to be in this country and or that mater in any county without the country’s permission.

Example, America hikers in Iran or the American reporter five ten years hard labor in North Korea.

The task force would have us open our borders to anyone of character, or criminal subversive nature just on the chance that some sleazy law enforcement official may ask for their identification when stopped for a lawful purpose,

Why someone may abuser the law is the task force argument. Well guess what we already have laws that deal with anyone who abuses the law.

What do you think cost more a few frivolous law suits of the hundreds of millions  it costs cpston to let the flood gates open?

If your child is robbed at school you go to the school officials for action.  What if nothing gets better bit now your child is beaten at school and you go to school officials who claim they are in charge of your child safety and well being and you still get lip service and no action.

At what point do you as a responsible parent do something about  it.  Well that is what Arizona is doing and guess what the human rights task force sides with the criminal.

They would have us pen our borders for those who are harming us physically and economically. By the way, task force, why are you stereotyping Mexicans as illegal aliens? Where does the racist part come from illegal aliens can be Canadian, Irish, Germans, Greeks, etc.

You have good intentions bit you are off the mark here,  I think you need to stay focused on water boarding, land mines bullying in schools and the worst crime of all, the dumbing down of America.  Before you jump in and vote for us, let’s discuss the whole issue and we can decide for ourselves.
