Pace Kerby tops in men's league play
After seven weeks of play, Pace Kerby remains in the lead in team standings in Mirror Lakes Men's Association league play, but Kelly's Excavating overcame a 2 1/2 point deficit a week earlier to tie, each with 100 points.
Boundary Tractor jumped from sixth place in the standings to take over third place with 96 points, Maggie Logging fell from third to fourth place with 94.5.
Low gross July 1 went to Roy Richardson, who shot a 36, Carey Reynolds finished second with 38 and Riley Mayo third with 39 strokes. On low net, Sam Ponsness came out on top, tying with Kevin Greenleaf and John Youngwirth, each with 29.
Boundary Tractor topped the team standings with 132 strokes. Century 21 came in second with 136 and Maggie Logging third with 137.
In week six play June 24, it was Carey Reynolds and Chad Deitz tied for low gross with 37 strokes. Matt Duarte finished in third place with 39 strokes. Mayor Dave Anderson too low net with a score of 30; Leonard Schulte and Gordy Allured were a stroke behind with 31 each. Boundary Tractor also led in week six with 139 strokes; Kelly's Excavating came in second with 141, followed by Mugsy's Tavern with 143.
