Bernice E. Thompson

Former resident of Bonners Ferry, Bernice E. Thompson, passed away in Stephensville, Mont.

She is survived by two daughters, Helen Mae Dayton, of Victor, Mont., and Betty Henderson, of Spokane Wash., 15 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband John B. Thompson and daughter Louis Pour.

John was a forest ranger then a lumber mill owner in Bonners Ferry, also an Idaho State Senator from Boundary County.  Bernice owned and operated Bernice’s Dress Shop for a number of years.

Burial was held on July 14 in Bonners Ferry.
