Young Authors Contest Results Announced
The annual Young Authors contest shows that the craft of creative writing is alive and well in the youth and schools of Boundary County.
This contest, which is sponsored by the Boundary County Education Association, is open to public school students. About 500 students participated this year.
Jill Katz organized the contest. Volunteers at this year’s event included Donna Kent, Joan Myers, Kathee Robinson, Harold Holloway, Miki Behrens, Linda Lee Holloway, Lisa Hays, Lyndsay Hart, Kim Dinsmore, Dave Gause, Casey Frederickson, Paula Petesch, Laura Anderson, Laurie Naumann, Megan Brown, Shannon Rodgers, Ruth Loveland, Amanda Merrifield, Cheryl Kaessinger, Tanya McCoy, Amy Cowley, and Doreen Beck.
