Challenger British Soccer Camp

| June 17, 2010 9:00 PM

Challenger  British Soccer Camp will be at  Boundary County Fairgrounds the week of Monday, July 19, through Friday, July 23.

The British coaches turn a normal week of soccer camp into magical cultural experience, according to Challenger Sports.

“First Kicks” camp is for children ages 3 and 4 and will be held from 10:45 a.m. through 11:45 a.m., and the cost is $71.

“Mini Soccer” is for children ages 4 and 5 and is held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. and the cost for this session is $85.

“Half Day” has two sessions for youth ages 6 though 14.  The first is from 9 a.m. to noon and the next “Half Day” session for the same age group is 1 to 4 p.m., the cost is $115.

Challenger Sports will coach 110,000 players on over 2,500 British Soccer Camps throughout the U.S. and Canada this summer and have programs for all ages and levels.

Coaches have over 20 years experience, and know how to make learning soccer fun.  Not only will participants learn how to dribble, pass, shoot, tackle and head the ball, but they will also learn about respect, responsibility, integrity, leadership, and sportsmanship and will learn about how soccer is played around the world.

The Challenger difference is a unique coaching methodology that gets results quicker. The Challenger Way of coaching is based upon maximum participation, maximum touches on the ball and maximum fun. Simply put, no line drills, no long speeches and lots of encouragement.

Camp includes a free camp shirt and camp ball, a giant fold out soccer poster and a personal player evaluation.  Don’t forget to bring shin guards, water and sun block.
