Second Annual Boundary County's Got Talent!
BONNERS FERRY — Caring People for Animals presents its second annual “Boundary County’s Got Talent!” at the high school’s Becker Auditorium on April 17, with JoJo Baker as Master of Ceremonies.
A silent auction begins at 6p.m. and includes children’s items, antiques, paintings, and desserts. The auction will still be in progress during the show intermission, while refreshments are served. The talent show starts at 7p.m.
CPA, an all-volunteer animal welfare organization, has made changes for 2010 based on what was learned from last year’s successful show.
This year, one of the show judges is Anne Mitchell, a professional talent scout from the Laura L. Little Talent Agency in Spokane Valley.
Instead of setting admission prices, CPA asks for donations to help continue their work of providing Boundary County with services like low-cost pet spay and neuter.
Winners in each of two age groups will receive $200 and a trophy for first place, $125 for second place, and $75 for third place. The winner in a new category, Peoples’ Choice, will receive a gift certificate.
