Badgers head to districts with a win

The Badgers traveled to Troy, Mont., Monday and earned their second win of the season in their final regular season game, dropping the Trojans 14-3.

Chelsea Taggart pitched five innings, throwing six strike outs, walking two and giving up eight hits. She also had eight hits, including a double.

Caitlin Alexander had three hits and Lindsey Taggart, Aaramie Hoisington, Mattea Bertling and Samantha Robertson each had two, Robertson with a double; and Jordan Porter and Tessa Payne both had one hit.

The Badger girls travel to Timberlake High School for the district playoff at noon Friday.
