Softball season ends for Badgers

The Badgers softball season ended Friday, but for the first time in several years, there's a Badger on the All-Intermountain League team.
Chelsea Taggart pitched six innings against Priest River, striking out four, and giving away one walk as the Badgers fell to the Spartans, 8-3.
Samantha Robertson, Mattea Bertling, Caitlin Alexander, Jordan Porter and Aaramie Hoisington each cracked two hits and Lindsay Taggart had one.
The Badgers ended the season with an overall record of two wins to seven losses, but Taggart was honored for her tenacious play by being named to the All-Intermountain League team.
