Chili Festival and mini auction at Mt. Hall School

Mount Hall Elementary School is warming things up with a Chili Festival and mini auction to be held at 4:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 13 at Mount Hall School.

The Chili dinner costs $10 per family or $3 per individual. This buys a chili dinner with samples of the contestants chili entries.  Additional samples can be bought for 25 cents each. People will be asked to vote for their favorite chili.

“There will be a lot of local auction items including a river rafting trip from Two Heart Outfitters,” said Amy Christopherson.

The money raised will go to Mount Hall School.

There will be many other items and Christopherson said they are looking to the community and businesses to donate items to be auctioned.

“We have playground equipment that was purchased for the students from money raised at another fundraiser, but we have not been able to get enough money to pay to have it installed,” said Tawny Macdonald of Mount Hall School.

Checks and cash can be used to purchase auction items.
