Woody Ferrill Watts

Woody Ferrill Watts, 62, passed away at his home in Bonners Ferry, Idaho, on Oct. 27, 2010.

Services were held on Monday, Nov., 1, 2010 at 1 p.m. at the Mountain Springs Church in Bonners Ferry, Idaho.

Woody was born on May 7, 1948, in Woodland, Calif., to Carl and Leona (Bennett) Watts.

On June 22, 1974, he married Shirley Ann Wood in Reno, Nev. They moved to Bonners ferry, Idaho, in 1978 to raise a family. Woody loved and cared for his family. He was active in his son’s life at every turn, from sports, hunting to simply providing for his family with strong family valures and work ethic.

Woody worked for Boundary County Road and Bridge and later for the Boundary County Landfill until he retired due to illness.

He is survived by his wife Shirley Watts of Bonners Ferry, Idaho; sons Chris Martin and wife Margaret, Caleb Watts and wife Jennifer and Kyle Watts and fiancé Joy; grandchildren Sloane, Holden, Jessica Emma; a sister Carol Salisbury and her husband Kurt and nieces and nephews Barry, Kerry, Kevin, Rick Shaw of Woodland, Calif.

His mother Leonna passed away later the same day as Woody.

 He was preceded in death by his father in 1970 and grandchild Hunter in 2002.
