Girl Power posts high scratch scores Tuesday

Here we are back again with news from AJ's Lanes. Here's The Beef had the High Scratch Game of 635 and the High Scratch Series of 1867. Wicked Pissah had a 777 for High Handicap Game and a 2112 for High Handicap Series.

Josh Joseph bowled the HSG of 230 and had the HHG of 276. Stan Pruitt had a 630 for HSS and Evert Kittell a 716 for HHS.

Jenny Liermann had a 193 HSG and a 563 HSS while Sherri Miller had a 249 for HHG and 717 HHS.

Those bowling a 200 game were Stan Pruitt 218-222, Kevin Stockton 224-200, Evert Kittell 226, Lyle Kittell 226-202, Larry Benson 216, Buster Richards 201, Bryan Engelbert 221-208.

Bowling a 500 series was Buster R. 538, George Schernitski 547, Josh J. 545, Larry B. 528, Evert Kittell 560, Andy Scott 501, and Tom Florea 508. Kevin S. had a 614, Bryan Engelbert a 623 and Lyle Kittell, a 609.

TUESDAY MORNING LADIES

This morning Girl Power had the high scratch scores with a 482 HSG and 1302 HSS. LOL-LOL had a 653 for HHG and Sugar & Spice had 1815 for HHS.

Jenny Liermann had a 208 for HSG Katie Bourassa had 244 for HHG, Jenny Liermann had a 586 HSS and Katie Bourassa had 652 HHS. Coming in second/third HSG was Carolyn McNeill with 240 and Evelyn Smith with 232. Second HHS was Carolyn McNeill with 651 and Dolores Sweet with 632.

Those able to pick up a split today were Dolores Sweet a 2-7, Virginia Sanborn a 5-10, Shirley Elliott a 3-10, Jenny Liermann a 3-10, Carolyn McNeill a 5-6 and Sherri Miller a 5-10 and 3-10.

Double were bowled by Katie B., Virginia Sanborn, and Jeanne Osborn. Carolyn McNeill had a turkey and Jenny Liermann also bowled five in a row.

THURSDAY MEN'S CHERRY PICKERS

 So, here we are with news about the newly formed Thursday Night Men's league.

We apologize for the delay, but there had to be some glitches worked out. This will be the news for the first week of bowling. I will get caught up in next week’s news.

    This league has eight teams, but instead of bowling three games they bowl four games. So, you will be seeing higher scores for series and handicap series, team and individual. So, onward and upward with the standings for the first week of bowling on Nov. 4, 2010.

    Leading the pack was S-S-K (Kevin Stockton, Andy Scott, Lyle Kittell) with 14 wins. In second JR-WJ-TF (Jon Rogers, Willie Jimenez, Tom Florea) with 11 wins. In third is P-K-S (Frank Plantz, Evert Kittell, George Schernitzki) with 11 wins.

Next is Woods Asphalt (Ralph Crabb, Matt Stangel, Terry Burnham) with 9.5 wins; Les Schwab (Josh Edlulnd, Dan Williams, Adam Morgan) is in fifth with 7.5 wins; sixth is Woods Crushing/Hauling (Mike Cramer, Gerald Hosterman, Scott Crabb) with six wins;

M-P-M- (John Marsh, Shaine Parson, Travis Meyer) in seventh with six wins, and Vietnam Veterans (Larry Smith, Conrad Maibaum, Howard Bigelow, Phil McNearney) in eighth place with three wins.

    S-S-K took all the high score honors for the first week. Their HSG was 683, HHG was 726, HSS was 2642, and HHS was 2690.

    Lyle Kittell had a 267 for HSG, Adam Morgan a 277 for HHG, Lyle Kittell. had a 932 HSS and a 932 for HHS.

    Those bowling a 600 series were Tom Florea 671, Mike Cramer 641, Gerald Hosterman 656, Adam Morgan 645, Ralph Crabb 681, Conrad Maibaum 601, Howard Bigelow 629, Evert Kittell 625, and John Marsh 658. Frank Plantz had a 722,Larry Smith a 756,  and Jon Rogers a 711. An 800 series was bowled by Kevin Stockton (849), Andy Scott (851), and Terry Burnham (841).
