Bowl-a-thon

A Bowl-a-thon fundraiser will be held for a Boundary County man who was injured while training his horse.

Chad Harper was riding his horse when the horse was spooked, he fell off and the horse crushed his leg leaving him with injuries requiring several surgeries.

A.J.’s Lanes will be open from noon to 6 p.m., on Sunday Nov. 7, to raise money for the Harper family. The cost at the door will be $20, this price will allow a family of four to bowl, and their soft drinks, there will be a savings of $3 of any large pizza ordered. All proceeds will help the Harper family while Chad is recovering home away from work. 

Chad has a wife Svetlana and two small boys Alex, 8, and Nicholas, 4. Chad served in the military and is a veteran of the Iraqi war.
